Tell a company you’re moving
A letter telling your broadband provider, bank, employer or anyone else your moving date and new address.
Do this in chat: answer two or three questions and your agent writes it, then change it by asking.
What you type stays on this device: OpenMap doesn’t see it or keep it.
What the law says
- Give your account or customer number so they can find you quickly.
- Some services, like broadband, need a few weeks to move or end. Ask what they need from you.
- For gas, electricity and water, give the suppliers your meter readings on the day you move.
Free, impartial help:
This is not legal advice. You check the letter and send it yourself. OpenMap never sends it, files a claim for you or takes any share of money you get back.
